App Review (Draw 3D Junior)
My Work Sample
Reflection
When opening the app, you get through different learning steps before doing complex 3D line drawing. The app first teaches the basic geometric shapes and gives description then you progress into the 3D making of the geometric shape. It is an interesting app for kids to learn how to dawn 3D with lines. it can be useful to learn how to draw cubes or other shapes on the app then use that knowledge and draw on paper. After going through the basic shape drawing then there are more advanced objects, for example, a paper plane and bird. One downside of the app that I did not like was it does not allow you to bring down the opacity of the lines to make sure you have drawn the line correctly. As a result of that the body part of my bird does not look symmetrical. |
Podcast (Banksy)
Reflection
We live in a time everyone wants to be recognized and be seen if they have done something to impact the world or the community. It is very inserting to me how Banksy has kept his identity very secret and he has never shown his face to be recognized in public or on social media websites. With Banksy's identity being very hidden he still makes art and gets recognized by his style of work and his works are sold in auctions for very high prices.
I think the world does not need to know your identity or to recognize your face to create great art and to be recognized around the world.

Reflection
I really enjoyed creating a lesson with a group and learning the different parts a teacher has to do in giving an assignment for the students.
I created the anticipatory lesson, the grading sheet, the photoshop quiz, and created the PowerPoint presentation for the group.
It was my first time going through the process of this. I learned how to connect a subject to an art project and how to get the student excited for the project. It was really helpful to have and to know the different resources teachers have to help with creating an assignment for the class.
I am mostly familiar with using photoshop and using the tools, but it was interesting to test a lesson and to learn what questions could come up for a person using the tools. I learned that it is important to test the lesson that you create in classroom to make sure the process works. I mostly use photoshop in editing my photos, using photoshop to make a collage was a different experience and I enjoyed it.
